By KEVIN LADNER-LEARY, Associated PressThe Italian motorcycle manufacturer has sold a new scooter that has the same wheels as its big-selling model but can be converted into a sidecar.
The new scooters were made by Filippo Rossi and are sold under the name Filippi, and they have the same price tag as its other big-seller, the Filippin B.V. 250 scooter.
The company said the scooters have a range of 20 kilometres, and that the conversion can be done in a couple of hours.
Rossi’s new scotch has a front-mounted scooter and rear-mounted sidecar as well as a rear-wheel drive motor.
The Italian company said that its other two models, the B. V. 250 and B. B. 250, are currently being manufactured by Yamaha.
