India has unveiled its newest dirt scooters for the first time, a new model that sells for just $12 a month in the country.
The company has said the bikes have been designed to go for a low price in the region, but customers in other countries might have to pay more to use them.
The Rs. 12,000 ($2,000) model features a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of about 2.5 liters and a capacity for 12 passengers.
It has a range of 8 miles on a single charge and is designed to travel around 2,000 miles in a month.
It’s designed for short trips, especially in the winter, when the temperatures drop.
Honda has partnered with a motorcycle manufacturer to sell the bikes in India.
The motorcycles will be available for purchase through the country’s public transportation systems, according to a statement on the company’s website.
